The season of the Puja is a time that escapes even the boundaries of carefully crafted words. It is the essence of the mother who waits for days to get a glimpse of her child and her family; the essence of the daughter who counts her days and months to run into the arms of a mother who is far away; of a grandchild who longs for the loving hug of a grandmother, or the funny, pampering-to-death grandfather. It is a time when every house becomes a home in the hope of the return of a dear one. Every corner of the home promises a comfortness of a mother’s lap. Every forgotten vase comes out to burst in a splash of colours, arranged with Fragrant Fresh Flowers . The house radiates warmth, the floors glisten with welcome, the doors are ajar even when they are not. And beauty seeps in, drop after drop, into a soul, a mind, and a nation!
